The New York Medieval Society Book Subvention Award

The New York Medieval Society is pleased to announce a book subvention award of up to $5,000 to support authors across disciplines writing about the Middle Ages. Publishers increasingly require subventions to facilitate the publication of books, especially academic monographs, covering costs of editing and production, as well as special features including color images. Authors who have already secured provisional contracts from presses and need support to publish their books should consider applying for this award.
